Back in the Studio!

Feels so good to be back in the studio.
Woo hoooooooo!

We laid down the fretless bass with George for 'I Fell' (sweeeeeet sweeping bass lines man) and then we started 'Enter This Love'.   TJ Gates is on trap kit and George picked up the Hofner bass.  It has such a nice little pop to it that really gave the piece a kick.
WE'RE ALL REALLY LIKING THE FRETTED ON THIS ONE!
So glad he had the inspiration to grab it.

Next, Robert Reeder adds his spicy percussion on top to really make da body move :)
Sharon and I laid 'scratch' vocals and guitar down with the boyz on trap and bass tonight.
We'll record the real deals soon and then add some killer lead guitar and Keys.

MY HEART IS EXCITED!

YES!

                Love, PJ

  1. Yeah, baby!

I have often said this over the years, and it's still true: there is nowhere in the world that I would rather be than in the studio recording original music. It's dharma, my friends ~ such fulfillment to the writer in me. Yay!

  2. That writer in you sure is a beautiful, powerful thing Ms. Bousquet. Did you hear Tim's latest mix of 'I Fell' that he sent today? Just checked it on headphones.
